Maysa Jalbout – LINC 2016 Conference Speaker<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

\"Maysa<\/a>Maysa Jalbout is a recognized leader in the field of education and has a special interest in using education technology to advance access to quality education in developing countries. In addition to authoring reports and advising on Ed Tech policies, she is actively supporting innovative Ed Tech initiatives in her new role as the CEO of the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education. The Foundation creates opportunities to activate the untapped potential of Arab youth, providing underserved, high-performing students with the scholarships, support and skills training that they need to thrive. Maysa has over 20 years\u2019 experience in building organizations, initiatives and partnerships targeting young people throughout Canada, the Middle East and in developing nations. She was the founding CEO of the Queen Rania Foundation. She is also a trusted advisor to global figures. She has produced highly visible research and strategies in several fields of education in development including refugee education and Arab youth learning and skills in her capacity as Non-resident Fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC. She spent the earlier years of her career in Canada, where she held senior roles in a number of national and international organizations and initiatives focused on improving education, development and youth employment, including the Canadian International Development Agency and Human Resources Development Canada. Finally, Ms. Jalbout has served on the boards of well-recognized non-profits.
